Dance of an Uprooted System depicts trees that float in a nonliteral, timeless space, the branches of which are conflated with artificial material like wires and pipes. The trees are infested with machinery that causes them to act like the people who transformed them from their natural state. They are players in an only outwardly functional web who wield an illusion of power to keep each other in line.
